Whilst staying at Thornbury Castle (we regret that beauty treatments are not available to non residents), you might like to take advantage of the holistic therapies and beauty skin care treatments available in the luxury and privacy of your own room. These treatments have been carefully selected to improve your wellbeing and you can well imagine how they might make you look and feel so much better. Only carefully selected, high quality products are used to achieve maximum results by qualified therapists. All treatments are suitable for both men and women.
Holistic and Massage Treatments
An impressive selection of holistic treatments carried out by fully qualified practitioners. These specialist treatments have been found to help many different types of symptoms including acute ailments and chronic conditions. All our therapies require a full consultation beforehand to ensure the treatment suits your needs.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) ‘Vodder’ Trained Therapist This is a specialised therapy which works on the bodies lymphatic system. It is helpful in the treatment of migraines, sinus problems, detoxing, scar tissue and lymphoedema.

A powerful and deeply relaxing massage to relieve tension and discomfort in these stressed areas.

Aromatherapy Massage
A relaxing massage to help relieve muscle fatigue and tension. It also ease aches and pains from everyday stresses. Essential oils will be chosen for your personal specific needs.

Indian Head Massage
This treatment focuses on the upper back, arms, shoulders, neck, scalp and face. These are the parts of the body most vunerable to stress and tension. Its effects are both physical and emotional, relieving tension in these key areas and promoting peace and relaxation.

Aromatherapy Massage
An aromatherapy massage is a deep and relaxing treatment. Essential oils are chosen and diluted in a carrier oil prior to massage onto the body. These oils are extracted from a variety of plant materials and absorbed through the skin and through inhalation at the same time. When combined, the individual properties of the oils are enhanced creating the ultimate massage.

Massage A relaxing and soothing massage to include the back, neck, shoulders and the backs of the legs. Essential oils are carefully selected for this excellent treatment.

Reflexology
Reflexology is the application of special pressures and massage to stimulate tiny reflex points on the feet. These correspond to glands, organs and other parts of the body. Reflexology follows the principle that energy travels through the body along pathways known as meridians. It aids relaxation, stimulates the cirulatory system, redresses imbalances in the tissues, organs and systems of the body, to restore balance and well being. This treatment can help many ailments.

This relaxing package includes a back, neck and shoulder massage followed by a Dermalogica primary facial, finished off by a nail shape and polish.

Need to totally relax? This luxury treat begins with a one hour aromatherapy massage, followed by Demalogica prescription facial, tailor made for your skin type. And that’s not all, because this experience also includes a one hour pedicure (which can be substituted for a manicure if preferred).

Bridal Package
Let our beauty team take extra special care of you on this most important of days. To relax and prepare you for your exciting day, indulge in an aromatherapy back massage, followed by an eye brow shape, a manicure and a file and polish to the feet as you prepare to walk down the aisle, so that everything is perfect for you. This package includes your trial make up with Jane Iredale’s natural mineral cosmetics, as well as a bridal make up on your Wedding Day!

Groom Package
This is a big day for the groom too! This special package includes an aromatherapy back massage to relax him, followed by a primary facial. We will also give the groom a MANicure so that his hands and nails are gleaming.

Please note there is also an £8.00 session charge per therapist, in addition to the prices quoted above.
Cancellations
In the event of a cancellation of an appointment, we would require 24 hours notice, otherwise a 50% charge will be incurred.
