New Years Eve Break - 2011 Moonlight and Music, Magic and Sparkle from £355
We all very much hope you are able to join us on 31st December to welcome the New Year 2011. This fabulous evening of celebration will mark the end of Thornbury Castle’s 500th Year and launch the Castle’s legacy forward into the next 100 years.
New Years Eve - Friday 31st December
You are invited to arrive in the afternoon and enjoy tea in our one of our lounges, after which you can unpack and settle into your bedchamber. Early evening, join us in the lounge for pre-dinner drinks where you will have the opportunity to place any Champagne orders required for midnight.
This year we will be offering two dining / entertainment options for you to choose from as follows:
The South Wing – ‘Magic and Sparkle’ Tower Dining Room, Oriel Dining Room and the Baron’s Sitting Room, Drawing Room and Library
You will be seated at individual tables with those in your party for a six course Gourmet Dinner and entertained by a ‘close-up’ Magician – a member of the prestigious Inner Magic Circle. Dining times must be pre-booked and are available between 7.00pm and 8.30pm.
The North Wing – ‘Moonlight and Music’ The Tudor Hall and the Boyling Room
Round tables of 10 people (banqueting style) will be shared with your fellow guests. You too will enjoy a six course Gourmet Dinner served at 7.30pm. From 9.00pm you will enjoy musical entertainment by ‘Manhattan,’ a lively vocal, guitar and bass duo – performing a mixture of rock, pop disco and soul music from the 1950’s to present day. A chance to dance the night away!
Whichever dining and entertainment option you choose we will ‘chase out the old’ and ‘bring in the new’ together amidst much pomp and circumstance with our midnight fireworks display.
New Years Day - Saturday 1st January A late brunch will be served on New Years Day from 9.30am

Why not stay the night before (Thursday 30th December)? We are delighted to offer 50% off published accommodation rates, when you book the New Years Package.
This special break is available from 31 December 2010 to 1 January 2011. Subject to availability.

A 50% deposit is payable on booking with the remaining 50% due on or before 1st December 2010.

The rates quoted are per person for this one night New Year break, and are based on two people sharing a double or twin room. The rates are inclusive of accommodation, our Black Tie Gourmet Dinner (EITHER South Wing OR North Wing dining / entertainment options), brunch on 1st January and VAT. Single occupancy rates are available on request.
Cancellation
In the event after 1st December 2010 we shall endeavour to re-let the accommodation on your behalf. If however we are unable to do so we regret that it will be necessary to retain the full cost of the package. For non-arrival no refunds will be made. We respectfully recommend that guests secure cancellation insurance.
