Two Night New Year Celebration
New Year’s Eve – Enjoy a delicious cream tea on New Year’s Eve afternoon, served between 1pm and 4pm, and maybe relax while playing a range of board games. At 7pm, join us for a pre-dinner black-tie drinks reception with champagne and canapés, followed by dinner and a selection of wines served in the restaurant from 7.30pm. After dinner, make your way to our Tudor Hall to be entertained and dance the night away, or enjoy the evening with a spot of gambling in Tudor aristocratic style. A traditional piper will welcome in the New Year, followed by fireworks at midnight. A glass of either champagne or single malt, plus bacon baps, will be served at midnight to celebrate the arrival of 2023.
New Year’s Day – A delicious buffet breakfast will be served in our restaurant between 8am and 10.30am. You are welcome to join one of our fascinating history tours to hear about the castle from times gone by. A delicious three-course lunch will be served; or perhaps choose a light picnic or a ploughman’s lunch instead. In the evening, a three-course a la carte dinner will be yours to enjoy.
