Terms and Conditions

A 30% flexible* but non-refundable deposit will be taken by credit/debit card at the time of booking, this amount will be deducted from your final balance at the end of your stay.

Christmas, Recharger and New Year rates require a 50% non-refundable deposit upon booking with the balance due on 1st December.

A minimum two night stay may apply to some Saturday nights.

*Flexible with one amendment per booking up to 72 hours prior to arrival.

For individual reservations we will charge an additional 70% of the quoted rate for the entire stay for any cancellations within seven days of arrival. Group bookings are defined as five or more rooms.

Group bookings are subject to contract.

No refunds will be given for failing to take up any component included in the price of your holiday, including meals. 

Please note that these are ‘from’ prices and may vary depending on the day of the week and the hotel’s occupancy levels. All rates are inclusive of VAT at the current rate. Rates are per room, per night, based on two adults sharing a room.

Please note that bookings are not confirmed until a deposit has been processed.

Children up to the age of 16 stay for £35 per night including breakfast in their parent’s room – subject to the suitability of the room to take extra beds. The castle is not suitable for children under 8 years.

Should you wish to bring your dog with you, there will be a supplement of £25 per dog, per night. Please note that not all bedrooms are suitable for dogs and therefore this option is strictly subject to availability and must be booked in advance.

An extra bed is available subject to availability and room type dependant, £75 per adult on a bed and breakfast basis and £153 per adult including dinner.

You will be required to show the debit or credit card used to pay your deposit upon check-in. If the same card cannot be presented on check in the Reception team may need to refund the original charge and re-take the accommodation charges from a new card.

Check-in Times

We guarantee your Bed Chamber will be available to you from 3pm, although you are of course more than welcome to arrive earlier on the day of your check-in to enjoy a drink at the bar and a stroll in our gardens.  If you will be checking-in after 10pm, please inform reception of your estimated time of arrival. We require your room back by 11am on the day of departure, however your luggage can be left with us to enjoy your day as you please.
